We at Conway are buyers and seller of Gold and Silver bullion. You can come into our shop and sell your items for cash or you can send them in. It is better that you should always warn us of your visit by phone before you come. If you choose to send in your Gold or Silver bullion, then you should are expect to send it in by secure post. The protocol for sending precious metals to us are as follows:

You should always call us before you send any precious metal item to us so that we know that it is arriving. You should put the weight of the precious metals on the outside of the Package. This should also include the weight of the packaging. So, we should see on the outside of the packaging: The total weight of the precious metals. The weight of the packaging. If for example you have 2kg Silver bullion then you should write these two things:

For Silver
• 1.) 2kg Ag.
• 2.) 500g packaging.

For Gold

• 1.) 250g Au.
• 2.) 250g packaging.

For Gold, Silver

• 1.) 250g Au.
• 2.) 50g Ag.
• 3.) 250g packaging.

This is done to protect you and us, so that when we receive and weigh the unopened package, the weight should agree with what is written on the outside, otherwise we will return the package to you unopened. If we return the package to you unopened, then we will charge you for doing so, otherwise you must arrange for a suitable method of collection with us. Gold Bullion.

Collectors Gold coins and precious metals Minter’s Rounds @ 40% market price. Gold coins: i.e., Gold Eagles, British Sovereigns, Canadian Maple Leafs, Krugerrands @ 50% market price. 1 gram to 750 grams @ 55% market price. 1kg Gold bars or heavier @ 60% market price.

Market Price.

By market price we mean the current market price of the metal and not for any perceived Collectors value due to its rarity, vintage, or limited production. We reserve the right to Assay any Gold item before handing over cash or making any form of payment. If we decide to test any Gold bullion item, then you should give us a maximum of 4 weeks. This is particularly true for items of 500 grams or more in weight.

We handle orders given to us from customers over the telephone from anywhere in the world and we accept all the most popular credit cards. We deal with all telephone orders immediately, and each item is sent by us through secure mail by FedEx.
